#50ShadesofHappiness: Maya, the Unicorn

EN: Today I’m going to show you a project I’ve never talked about here, on the blog. It’s one of those projects I plan on releasing one day, I have a pattern that I’ve tested a few times, I’ve got pictures and everything. But time is missing. Time to piece everything together and publish the pattern.

This is Maya, the crochet unicorn. I’ve made her 2 years ago, on a hot summer evening.

Maya, the unicorn, is part of my toy collection created for small children – it’s easy to grab the toy. It’s made of cotton with a skirt made of tulle and hair made of lots of colorful strands of yarn. I loved every minute spent working on this crochet unicorn.

While I was making this, I remember listening to The Dark Forrest by Liu Cixin, the second part of The 3 Body Problem trilogy. A wonderful series, I highly recommend it if you’re a SF aficionado.

#50shadesofhappiness is my way of balancing the weird times we’re now facing, posting pictures of projects that brought joy. Feel free to use it and spread joy in your own circle of friends.
