Am zis că-i așa de simplu încât n-are rost să-i scriu tutorialul.

EN: I had a bad, bad day when I saw the picture of Mr. Bobulet in my timeline, from a very talented friend, SirG. My cat hid under the bed when she felt my mood, and I felt even worse because the top I just finished knitting is a bit too big for me. And this amigurumi project was like fresh air in a room filled with poison.

I like a challenge and I love to make up my own toys, without resorting to piracy, which is something I hate. I am sad whenever I see people stealing and sharing paid patterns for free, like it’s nothing. I just don’t understand why, when you have millions of free patterns online, would you steal from an honest person who is trying to make a living by being creative? I hate this „rush for more patterns” trend that’s going on, but this is something we’ll talk about, perhaps, in another article, on a better day.

My feeling good therapy is about audiobooks and amigurumi projects. So I started listening to 22.11.63 from [amazon_textlink asin=’1501180983′ text=’Stephen King’ template=’ProductLink’ store=’us-1′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’f72b8133-aaa1-11e8-9f55-e3f0cb634e6c’] – a wonderful book and a wonderful journey through America of the ’60s – found a skein of cotton yarn brought by my folks from Spain and proceeded in making mr. Bobulet. As excited as I was about this project, I did not write down the pattern – but it’s all in my head, still fresh. Well, sort of.

It took about 8 or 9 hours to complete Mr Bobulet and the most difficult part was … the cowboy hat! :)) But after taking a break at a jazz concert and a good nights sleep, I managed to make the hat look the way I wanted it to be. And I’m happy with this amigurumi project.

So here’s mr. Bobulet:
